I am very grateful to read about and witness the wonderful work the ministry has been doing. My name is Zedekiah Atandji, a graduate student from Ghana, currently studying at Park University.

I would be delighted to learn more about the ministry’s mission and activities, and I kindly wish to inquire if the church could extend its support or guidance to me as I continue my academic and spiritual journey.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

A little suggestion for the bulletin:
with a clever heading, ie, 'did you know' post changing notices about goings-on around the church yard.
For example, 'donations for Troost 39 may be left any Sunday at St.J, in the .....room', or ' non-perishable food donations for Pantry Sunday are accepted all month long: please leave them on .....(table/shelf).
'cold weather hat, scarves, mittens & gloves are accepted year-round in the marked baskets ....'
ETC.

Just thinking out loud here.

My mom has congestive heart failure and diabetes etc. She has been on hospice for 7 years. I am her full time caregiver with her from Sisters Care Homehealth. She receives Holy Communion almost daily and we have used an end- of- life doula for 3 years. She is not Catholic but very compassionate and knowledgeable of the dying process. Recently because of mom's finances I had to let this doula go. She was very helpful during a 3 month transition to a personal care home to give me a respite. Mom is now back in her own home with me and my nephew Adam.

Thank you for this death doula writing. I recently completed an end-of-life death doula training. It was secular in nature. Being Catholic, I would really like to approach this work from a spiritual standpoint. Do you know of any Catholic training courses that might assist me in this.
