Tomato, pepper, and eggplant plants are tucked in the beds and protected from the heat and potential drought by a layer of straw. This Saturday, May 11th, at 9:30 am the Garden Gang will be planting squash, corn, beans, and sweet potatoes. The following are ready for picking:
East Garden
Kale – Pick leaves from bottom
South
Bed 2 – Lettuce – Cut plant off leave a couple leaves at the bottom
Bed 7 – Radishes – Pull. Leaves and root bulb are edible.
