MCC Corner
Feb 28, 2025, from the Diocese KCSJ Office of Life & Justice
The Missouri Catholic Conference promotes the sanctity and dignity of human life in public policy advocacy in Jefferson City, MO on behalf of the Missouri Catholic Bishops. Several bills are currently in process which would seek to abolish the death penalty Per the MCC: “The death penalty undermines respect for human life. Errors in the judicial system can lead to the execution of innocent people. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, par. 2267).”
