Trunk or Treat

We’re having a “pop up” youth event! Trunk or Treat at Children’s Mercy is on Sunday, October 27, and WE HAVE A SPOT reserved for our decorated vehicle. youth volunteers and candy! We go right after Mass and finish around 3pm. Bonnie will have sign up sheets in the back of Church on Sunday, October 6, 13, and 20. Youth from junior high age on up are invited to pass out candy and toys to the children who are patients at Children’s Mercy and their families. Kid-friendly costumes are encouraged (no war costumes or death-themed costumes, please). Do we have some adult chaperones to help with this? PARISHIONERS ARE INVITED TO BRING HALLOWEEN CANDY TO CHURCH. WE WILL COLLECT ON SUNDAYS, SO WATCH FOR THE WHITE BASKETS! Trunk or Treat has been a long time event for our youth in past years. Please help us restart this event! Good for service hours, too!
