This Sunday is the Twenty-First Sunday in Ordinary Time. Clink Thomson shares his reflection. Please see attached 21st Sunday in OT Bulletin.
May we invite those who can attend the Sunday Mass in-person to join us in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist in St. James KC. Fr. Garry Richmeier will be our celebrant.
Considering that many parishioners are still suffering the effects of the Covid virus, we recommend masking if you plan to attend Mass in-person this Sunday.
We continue to livestream our 10:00 AM Sunday Mass, reaching out to parishioners and friends who are in hospitals, in nursing homes or housebound. In addition, the availability of the livestream Sunday Mass is for those who may be pregnant, parents of unvaccinated children, immunocompromised and unvaccinated individuals. Here is the link to the livestream: Facebook Page of St. James Midtown KC. Recording of the livestreamed Mass can be accessed at https://stjkc.org/sundays-at-st-james.
REMINDER:
· Saturday, August 24, is the 118th Founding Anniversary Celebration of St. James Church. Join the celebration which starts at 5:30pm in the south lawn. Please see attached flier.

Dear St James,
Navigating your website to just find out when Sunday mass times was impossible. Consequently, I missed my Sunday obligation because somewhere I read that there was a 7pm Sunday mass. Obviously, there wasn’t one so I tried to go out to your website to find the times and I could not except for some vauge references to a 10am mass.
