This Sunday is the Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time. Sr. Rose McLarney shares her reflection. Please see attached 30thSunday in OT Bulletin.

May we invite those who can attend the Sunday Mass in-person to join us in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist in St. James KC. Fr. Mark Miller will be our celebrant.

We continue to livestream our 10:00 AM Sunday Mass, reaching out to parishioners and friends who are in hospitals, in nursing homes or housebound. In addition, the availability of the livestream Sunday Mass is for those who may be pregnant, parents of unvaccinated children, immunocompromised and unvaccinated individuals. Here is the link to the livestream: Facebook Page of St. James Midtown KC. Recording of the livestreamed Mass can be accessed at https://stjkc.org/sundays-at-st-james.

REMINDERS:

·       St. James remembers our beloved dead with our entrance procession of the Book of the Dead and a Remembrance table.  We will begin this practice this Sunday.  If you would like to bring a photo, card, or remembrance object, you can put it on the table in front of church by the Easter candle and the Book of the Dead. Please write the names of your family and friends who have passed, especially those who passed in the last year.

·       Considering the frosty forecast this Sunday, the Youth Group Trunk or Treat will move to Marian Hall.
