Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday, March 12, at 2 AM. Please don’t forget to advance your clocks that do not automatically advance before going to bed Saturday. Otherwise, you will either be late or miss Sunday Mass at St. James. If you will be late or even miss Mass, at least, you will be on time for Fr. Don’s session on PRAYER for Faith Formation Sunday.
This Sunday is the Third Sunday of Lent. Deacon Ross Beaudoin shares his reflection. Please see attached 3rd Sunday of Lent Bulletin.
We continue to livestream our 10:00 AM Sunday Mass, reaching out to parishioners and friends who are in hospitals, in nursing homes or housebound. In addition, the availability of the livestream Sunday Mass is for those who may be pregnant, parents of unvaccinated children, immunocompromised and unvaccinated individuals. Here is the link to the livestream: Facebook Page of St. James Midtown KC. Recording of the livestreamed Mass can be accessed at https://stjkc.org/sundays-at-st-james.
May we invite those who can attend the Sunday Mass in-person to join us in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist in St. James KC. Fr. Don Farnan will be our celebrant. Masks in St. James are strongly recommended.
- Communal Penance Service will be on Wednesday, March 15, at 6:30 PM.
