This Sunday is The Third Sunday of Ordinary Time. We welcome anyone who can join us at our 10 am Sunday Mass at St. James. Fr. Garry Richmeier will be our celebrant.
Considering that many parishioners are still suffering the effects of the COVID-19 virus and other infections, if you plan to join us in person, we recommend masking if you exhibit symptoms or are immune compromised.
We continue to livestream our 10:00 AM Sunday Mass, reaching out to parishioners who can’t attend in person. Here is the link to the livestream through our Facebook of St. James Midtown KC. A recording of the live-streamed Mass can also be accessed at https://stjkc.org/sundays-at-st-james

Terry Pickett, brother of Mary Pickett Vincent, passed away Tuesday, January 22. Please remember the family in your prayers. Services will be held later this year.

We had a great turnout for our Jan 19 Parish Community Meeting. Thanks to everyone who braved the cold to join us.  Here is the link to the video of the meeting:  https://fb.watch/xjQBTt8Y2d/.

St. James’s Katherine Harman, daughter of Mimi and Scott Harman, was interviewed as part of a KSHB Channel 41 news story featuring St. Teresa Academy’s basketball team.    https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/biggest-message-to-me-was-love-st-teresas-academy-girls-basketball-team-reflects-on-dr-kings-teachings

Congrats to Katherine and the St. Teresa’s basketball team!
