Happy 114th Birthday St. James!

Also this Sunday, R.C.I.A. candidate, BEN LOHMAN, will be receiving the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion. Furthermore, on September 26, 2020, Ben and his fiancee, Julia Gomez, will receive the Sacrament of Matrimony.

You have heard at last Sunday’s Live Streamed Mass that there have been two deaths related to St. James parishioners:
Albertine Kangni-Soukpe’s brother, Stanislas Kanfoe Koffi Kangni-Soukpe, passed away in Togo, Africa from a vehicular accident. Stanislas’ memorial service is still being deliberated by the family.
Pam Waters’ father, Calvin Waters, Jr., passed away of natural causes. Calvin’s funeral services will be at 2 PM on August 29, Saturday. According to Pam, the capacity of the site for the services is limited. As Calvin was a pillar of his church, Pam believes there will be no room for her “St. James Family”. Instead, Pam will be honored if her St. James Family will join her by viewing the live stream of the services. Here is the link to the website for the live stream: www.mstcsunset.com.
