Hello all!

This Sunday is the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. Please see attached file for Deacon Ross Beaudoin’s Reflection.

There are two ways to watch the live stream of the 10 AM Mass this Sunday:

  1. Via the public Facebook page of St. James. Click this link at 10 AM Sunday to access the live stream: ST. JAMES FACEBOOK PAGE. You can also access St. James Facebook page by going to the website of St. James. Click this link: ST. JAMES WEBSITE. Once on the website, scroll down until you see the logo of St. James. Click that logo.
  2. A recording of the live streamed Mass will be uploaded by 12 NOON Sunday on the website of St. James: ST. JAMES WEBSITE. Scroll down until you see: LIVE STREAM MASS. Click that link to watch the recorded video. Please do not click that link before the said time. Or come back to this email and click this link: CORPUS CHRISTI SUNDAY MASS by 12 NOON, June 14, 2020.

We are inviting those who CANNOT watch the live stream or its replay, if you are comfortable, to come to church on Sunday. You have priority to attend Mass in person.

Parishioners who have access to the live stream but wish to attend Mass physically, please respond to this email to let me know. You are welcome! I need to know who is coming and to make sure we do not go above the 50% occupancy of our church’s seating capacity.

The following are the guidelines for attending the Mass on Sunday in St. James:

  • The dispensation to attend Sunday Mass still applies.
  • All attendees MUST wear a face mask to enter and exit the building and while in the Communion line. Be sure to bring your own. If you don’t have a mask, St. James will provide a mask for you, courtesy of our Micronesian Community.
  • Doors will open 20 minutes before Mass begins.
  • The pews have been taped into 6-foot sections with spacing between pews. This will help maintain physical distancing.
  • Ushers will escort you to your seat upon arrival, help direct communicants during Communion and guide parishioners exiting the church once Mass has concluded.
  • There are no hymnals available! If you want to join in the singing, please print the hymns for this Sunday’s Mass which are available on the St. James website. Click this link MASS HYMNS to go to that page and print the hymns. Take the printed copies of the hymns with you to church, use them during Mass and take the copies back home with you or throw them in the trash.
  • Offertory baskets will be on tables in the entryways. Please place your donation in the basket as you enter church. An offertory collection will not be taken during Mass.
  • Please do not congregate in the church before or after Mass.
