This Sunday is the Sixth Sunday of Easter. May I share with you my reflection? Please see attached 6th Sunday of Easter Bulletin.

Sr. Teresa Maly will be leaving St. James for her motherhouse. This Sunday will be her last at St. James. Please see her, give her your goodbyes, and wish her well. Sr. Teresa, may the blessings of peace and good health be with you!

Yesterday, Sharon Hardy from St. Therese Little Flower and I were involved in the presentation of the pastoral plan for Deaneries 1, 2 and 11. While Sharon presented the structure of the plan, I presented the needed collaboration of the parishes in the implementation process. Please see attached scripts of our presentation along with the Pastoral Plan and the Parish Designations Defined.

Please join us for Sunday Mass remotely by clicking on this livestream link:Facebook Page of St. James Midtown KC.

Recording of the livestreamed Mass can be accessed at – https://stjkc.org/sundays-at-st-james.

We continue to livestream our 10:00 AM Sunday Mass, reaching out to parishioners and friends who are in hospitals, in nursing homes or housebound. In addition, the availability of the livestream Sunday Mass is for those who may be pregnant, parents of unvaccinated children, immunocompromised and unvaccinated individuals. May we invite those who can attend the Sunday Mass in-person to join us in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist in St. James KC. As new cases of Covid infections rise, masks in St. James are strongly recommended.
